Gagan has founded two ventures: an online plant nursery and an agriculture media group.
Founder and Director
Plant Orbit Private Limited
Plant Orbit is an online nursery based in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. It sells succulents, indoor plants and flowers, and delivers them to customers through its website.
It also works with businesses. Companies order plants in customised planters for corporate gifting, and bulk orders for their store locations.
- Grant-in-aid of Rs 20 lakh sanctioned by MANAGE under the Startup Agri Business Incubation Programme (RKVY-RAFTAAR), sanction letter dated 5 April 2024.
- Registered trademark, Class 31 (Trade Mark No. 4845389), covering garden herbs, succulent cactus and indoor plants, aloe vera plants, flowers and seeds.
- Recognised among the top startups from Uttarakhand at Bharat Pitchathon 2022, and named Best Agritech Startup at the Fireboxx Bhartiya Icon Award 2022.

Krishi Ujala is an agriculture media venture. Gagan founded it and serves as its editor, alongside his research in agricultural communication at GBPUAT Pantnagar.
